Welcome - Our Trip Part 1 (Zululand)

Hi all we have bored you with our stories before going and now you have to put up with us electronically.

Thought we would just show you where we are off to so you can track us whilst we are away.

We will be going to four of the parks shown above Tembe, Mkhuze, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi  (HIP) and the fourth park Thanda  (half way between HIP and Mkhuze on the map) over the ten weeks we are there. We will await our orders when we get there with regard to where and when we will be in each park.

The volunteer company we are using is Wildlife Act and they have a fantastic website http://www.wildlifeact.com which explains in more detail about what we are up to. We would  also suggest if you want to keep a further eye on us that they may have more up to date information about what we are doing through their Facebook, Blog and Twitter pages. There are no guarantees we will have access to the computer as often as we would hope.

Only 7 weeks to go, so all at panic stations, at least though you will not be bored by our constant.

Have we told you we are going away for 6 months!

Catch up soon and please do not forget to register under one of the three options on this site for our updates:-

  • Followers (Google,Twitter or Yahoo accounts)
  • RSS feeds (see below)
  • Or simply register your email address.

Mosi nets  have been purchased but it’s the bigger beasties we are more worried about! Catch up soon.

  3. Now that you have arrived safely I expect you are really looking forward to spending your first night in your luxurious acocmmodation! Don't make too much noise though - you might disturb the wildlife. Take care x
